"I recently stayed at Wrest Point and would definitely stay again! My room was a highlight—spotlessly clean, super comfortable bed, and a stunning view of the bay that made my stay extra special. I really enjoyed spending time at the Birdcage Bar. The cocktails were fantastic and the atmosphere was lively—highly recommend for a fun night out. Staff-wise, my experience was mixed: some team members were amazing and made me feel welcome, while others weren’t as friendly or helpful as I’d hoped. This didn’t overshadow my overall positive stay, but it’s worth mentioning. "I absolutely loved the complimentary welcome cheese platter. The breakfast box was a bit basic, so we just grabbed a quick bite before heading into town for coffee. The town is tiny, but I really enjoyed its quiet and peaceful atmosphere, and it wasn't crowded. Every day, three little ducks would visit our balcony, waiting for cookies, which the kids absolutely adored. Both bedrooms were very clean, and the bathroom was huge. The basic toaster, microwave, and fridge were very useful, and room service was available from the restaurant. The tree outside the front door displayed beautiful changing colors throughout the day, which was very pretty."

"We had a great second stay at this hotel. The room was a good size bathroom on the small side but functional. They gave us a high floor room with a nice view - we could even see the water and we liked the Trip.com deal where we got free breakfast. This was tasty and an enjoyable way to start the day. We found the staff were pleasant and we got a bottle of wine as we were celebrating a birthday. There is either onsite parking or you can get a discounted code for the Village cinemas carpark (both $15). This is a good 3 star standard hotel in a great location and we would come back. In fact, the breakfast was nicer than a recent very disappointing stay at the nearby (and much more expensive!) Moevenpick hotel."

"The first house we checked in was newer and bigger. Facilities n everything was working perfectly. But the 2nd house we checked in again couple of days later was older and facilities not as goog as the 1st house. The heaters are not working, missing this and tha(a pot without a lid, tea pot, WiFi is weaker n unstable...... ) Location is further from CBD but a supermarket nearby. But the reception lady is very nice"

"This is my first time staying at a Movenpick hotel. The hotel is new & modern. The location is close to Skybus drop out point & Visitor Information Centre. Check in was very smooth & fast. Room was spacious, clean & tidy. It's quiet to sleep through the night. There was one incident that someone ordered a wrong room service to my room, I told the lady it was not mine & she left. However, when I check out, it's still on my bill. The lady said she would handle it immediately. Then I left my luggage for storage before my flight, and when I went back to pick up my things hours later, I checked with another concierge lady, the charge has been canceled, so nothing had been charged to my card. They were all very nice & helpful. During my stay, I tried their free desserts at the lobby once (3:30-4:30pm daily). They were generous to provide quite some varieties for tasting, and they were fresh & yummy."

"Good location. Close to both CBD and Sandy Bay. The kitchenette is very convenient. There was an electric stove, microwave, refrigerator, pots and pans and knives and forks, but no chopsticks. Free internet. Front desk closes at 9 pm, but you can enter and exit multiple doors at anytime with your room card. Free parking space. Luggage storage is available. Let us check in at 12 noon. For sleeping, there is a powerful air conditioner, but only two thin blankets and the mattress is too soft. A$6 for continental breakfast, but you have to fill out a form to order. A$6 for both washing machine or dryer. Free laundry powder or liquid. Wellington Mountain and a corner view of the ocean from your room!"
